Summer

Saratoga Race Course

Saratoga Race Course is a thoroughbred horse racing track located on Union Avenue in Saratoga Springs, New York. Opened in 1863, it is often considered to be the oldest major sporting venue of any kind in the country, but is actually the fourth oldest racetrack in the US.

SPAC

The Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) has been a top summer music and arts festival location in North America for over 50 years. Sheltered under magnificent stands of pine and hemlock trees in the 2400-acre Spa State Park, and surrounded by healing medicinal springs, woodland walks, and historic architectural gems, SPAC sits in the perfect confluence of human-made and natural beauty. SPAC is a community refuge where Art and Nature meet to illuminate each other, and to restore and enrich all who gather here.

Victoria Pool & Peerless Pool

The Victoria Pool and Peerless Pool Complex are two fabulous swimming pool facilities at Saratoga Spa State Park. The Victoria Pool was built in the early 1930s as part of the health trend that was sweeping the country. The Peerless Pool Bathhouse Complex was built later in the 1960s.

Winter

Victorian Streetwalk

The annual Victorian Streetwalk in downtown Saratoga Springs is truly a unique and fun way to celebrate the holiday season in Saratoga Springs. Everyone is encouraged to attend, so not to worry if you cannot remember where your great-grandfather’s top hat is stored. Nearly half a mile of Broadway will be closed to traffic for highlights that include: A tree lighting ceremony in front of Putnam Market. Santa & Mrs. Claus in their cottage with live reindeer. Music, caroling, and entertainment scattered along Broadway. A special postal cancellation at the Post Office. Open houses in stores. And plenty more fun!

Chowder Fest

The annual Saratoga Chowderfest is one of Saratoga Springs' most popular and highly anticipated events. Dozens of local Saratoga restaurants participate in the highly anticipated Chowderfest, with patrons sampling chowder around the city and voting on their favorites.
